From Suffolk via Italy, Hannah Scott performs contemporary folk music and is building a loyal following thanks to her distinctive voice, strong melodies and thought-provoking lyrics.
Her music has been heard in the hit TV series Grey’s Anatomy, on BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music including a live session on Dermot O’Leary’s show, while praise for her work has arrived from publications such as MOJO, The Guardian and Clash Magazine.
Hannah was selected to take part in English Folk Expo’s highly competitive Artist Mentoring Programme this year. Her latest album Drawn To Darkness was awarded funding from Help Musicians UK, and her arresting live performances have earned her support slots for the likes of Seth Lakeman, Madeleine Peyroux and 10cc and and shows at venues such as London’s Union Chapel.
