The Folly Dollies WI offer you a very warm welcome to our monthly meetings in Faringdon. The Women’s Institute is a unique organisation shaped by its members.

Today, it is the largest women’s organisation in the UK and we pride ourselves on being a trusted place for all women of all generations, to share experiences and learn from each other.

Joining the Faringdon Folly Dollies WI will give you the opportunity to meet women in your local area in-person to make friends and make a difference in your community. The WI campaigns nationally on a wide range of issues and provides life-long learning and self-development opportunities for women nationally, in Faringdon and its surrounding areas.

Meetings start with doors opening at 7.30pm, every 2nd Wednesday of the month (not in August). We currently meet in the Old Town Hall in Faringdon’s Market Place and we enjoy lots of different activities, from hosting guest speakers on a wide range of subjects, to themed and games’ evenings, quizzes and food tastings to holding stalls at local events.

We have a selection of refreshments available (cash only) and a raffle at each meeting. Visitors are welcome and your 1st visit is free, membership is £54/year (from April 2026) and is pro-rated if you join mid-year.
